Family Weekend:
The Parents Program welcomes families to campus for Family Weekend. Visit http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/osa/fw/index.html for a full schedule of programming. Schedules may also be picked up at the information booth in Houston Hall during the weekend. If you have questions about any events or registration, please contact the department hosting that event directly. Programming during Family Weekend is hosted by each individual school or center (not the Parents Program). Thank you.

"A Conversation with President Amy Gutmann" on Friday, October 24, from 4:00-5:00 pm in Irvine Auditorium. Dr. Gutmann will speak about her vision for the future of Penn and what it means to be part of the Penn family today and tomorrow. All parents and families are invited to attend. Penn Parents Ap

Penn Parents is designed to inform, involve and engage parents of undergraduate students in the Penn community.  We focus our efforts on:

Communications: Penn Parents are informed about current events and happenings on and off campus through the Penn Parents Program website and the Penn Parents Newsletter and other publications.

Activities and Events: Penn Parents coordinates events and activities for parents to participate in regionally and on campus.  These events include Welcome Receptions for the incoming class, New and International Parent Orientation, Alumni Weekend, Engaging Minds lecture series, and Family Weekend. In addition, parents are invited to participate in University programming developed by select alumni clubs throughout the world throughout the world.

Volunteer Opportunities: Parent volunteers are ambassadors of goodwill promoting a cause they believe worthwhile: the education and wellbeing of students at Penn and the entire Penn community. Being a parent volunteer is one more way to stay connected and involved in your child’s Penn experience. Please visit our Volunteer page for some of the ways you can be involved with the Penn Parents Program.

The Parents Fund: There is no greater way to connect to Penn then by giving through the Parents Fund. Gifts made to the Parents Fund provide immediate support to all aspects of undergraduate experience. The Parents Fund plans to raise $1.2 million from 2,800 parents in 2011-2012. The Parents Fund is well on its way to this ambitious goal!
