The Parents Fund supports education and the undergraduate experience for students at Penn. Academics and programming beyond the classroom are enhanced by parents who contribute to this annual fund.

Penn’s Parents Fund supports undergraduate education and is a vital funding source that creates unique opportunities for students and enhances programs across campus. Each year thousands of parents and grandparents help shape the Penn experience with their unrestricted gifts.

The Parents Fund goal for July 1, 2007 – June 30, 2008 is to raise $1,900,000 from 3,000 parent donors.

The Parents Fund impacts Penn’s most valuable assets: students and scholarship. World-renowned professors are recruited to Penn drawing a most competitive and accomplished student population. Alumni benefit from a degree earned at a consistently top-ranked Ivy League university. Ensuring Penn’s standard of excellence, top ranked programs, campus resources, and faculty positions is of utmost importance and where unrestricted funds are used. Only 70% of the cost of a “Penn experience” is actually covered by tuition.
