The Parents Fund supports education at the University. Parents of students who contribute support programs & initiatives that enhance the academic experience.

Ways to make a gift

Your unrestricted support helps fulfill the immediate needs of the University – supporting the undergraduate experience in areas such as financial aid, residential enhancements, student life and academic support.Thank you for supporting The Parents Fund!

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts can increase the amount of your donation. If you or your spouse/partner are affiliated with a company that has a matching gift program, obtain a matching gift form from the human resources office where you work. Include the completed form with your donation, or indicate when sending in your Parents Fund gift that a matching gift will follow. Check here to see if your employer participates in a matching gifts program.

Gifts of Stock
In some cases, there may be tax advantages for individuals who donate through gifts of stock. Donors interested in making gifts of stock should contact Securities Gifts by calling (215) 898-7254 or emailing gifts@pobox.upenn.edu or writing to:

Donor-Advised Funds or Foundation Gifts
Donors may recommend or direct gifts to The Parents Fund through donor-advised funds or private foundations. Please submit your gift to The Parents Fund or contact the Securities office for more detailed information. We will provide you with our tax identification number.

Life Income or Bequests
If long-term planning is more important than an immediate income-tax deduction or if you want the flexibility of a gift commitment that doesn't affect your current cash flow, you can plan for a future gift to Penn by including a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust.  Please visit the Gift Planning website and contact Greg Johnson (800) 223-8236 to indicate your interest in the following areas:
